Over 60 years ago, Nonna made her way from Calabria to the UK at the age of 21, to find a better life for her mother and sisters. Nonna worked for the NHS when she arrived and it was there, at the hospital, that she met my Nonno Agostino, who had recently immigrated from Sicily. They married within 6 months and were together for 58 years.

Growing up in a Southern Italian household exposed me to so many authentic Italian dishes, and getting to spend time with Nonna in the kitchen to learn her way of cooking feels nothing short of a blessing. So in 2018, we decided to share our love for cooking together with others by hosting a supper club in my home.

With our spring/summer supper clubs unable to go ahead at the start of 2020, we took our menu to the road by operating at local Farmers Markets. We also ran a delivery service that offered freshly made pasta and a selection of our favourite dishes.

It’s this journey that has brought us to where we are now; a beautiful little deli that showcases some of the best produce Italy has to offer, along with the dishes we make in house inspired by Nonna. 

Our delicatessen is a warm and happy place for you to gather with friends and family and spend time over food the Italian way.
